We are seeking a talented, analytical, and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and reliable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define technical requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
- Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure software complies with security, privacy, and quality standards.
- Monitor production environments and proactively resolve issues.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend technical improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Perform additional software development tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience developing web applications or enterprise software.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of application security best practices.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Excellent time management in a remote work environment.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

Software Engineers collaborate with distributed engineering teams through virtual meetings, version control systems, and project management platforms. Candidates should maintain a professional home office, reliable high-speed internet connection, and the ability to deliver high-quality software while working effectively in a remote-first environment.
