Role Summary

We are seeking a talented, analytical, and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define technical requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure software complies with security, privacy, and quality standards.
• Monitor production environments and proactively resolve issues.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend technical improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Perform additional software development tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience developing web applications or enterprise software.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of application security best practices.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Excellent time management in a remote work environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing within the United States. Software Engineers collaborate with distributed engineering teams through virtual meetings, version control systems, and project management platforms. Candidates should maintain a professional home office, reliable high-speed internet connection, and the ability to deliver high-quality software while working effectively in a remote-first environment.
