Role Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented AI Trainer to help improve the performance, accuracy, and reliability of AI and machine learning models through evaluation, annotation, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, quality, relevance, and safety.
• Annotate, label, categorize, and validate datasets used for machine learning model training.
• Compare multiple AI outputs and determine the highest-quality responses based on established guidelines.
• Write clear, detailed, and constructive feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Perform quality assurance reviews on completed annotation and training tasks.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, and data scientists to refine training methodologies.
• Follow annotation guidelines and documentation with a high degree of consistency.
• Identify patterns, biases, and inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Participate in calibration sessions to maintain annotation quality across teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of proprietary data and AI systems.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality performance metrics.
• Assist in developing new annotation guidelines and workflow improvements.
• Stay informed about advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Contribute ideas that improve training processes and model evaluation.
• Perform additional AI-related data quality tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in writing, research, education, quality assurance, data annotation, content moderation, software development, business analysis, or other analytical roles is highly valued.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience evaluating large language models (LLMs)
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques
  • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP)
  • Strong research and fact-checking skills
  • Experience using AI annotation platforms
  • Basic programming knowledge (Python or SQL)

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing within the United States. AI Trainers work independently while collaborating with distributed engineering and research teams through virtual meetings and project management platforms. Candidates should maintain a distraction-free home office, reliable high-speed internet connection, and the ability to consistently meet quality and productivity expectations in a remote-first environment.

Compensation varies by employer, experience, project scope, and location. Salary details will be provided during the hiring process.
